Jenn McIntosh, Registered Clinical Counsellor
Jenn has been working as a counsellor for 10 years. Her main focus has been trauma, however she treats people for many different reasons that initially bring them through the counselling door.
She is trained in: Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and helps people heal from past experiences, create meaningful and achievable goals, and live the full lives they oh so desire and deserve.
Jenn will not be engaging in trauma or addictions treatment with the lucky participants, however she will work with individuals by offering them pre-treatment coping tools or what is scientifically referred to as 'Resource Development and Installation.' Ultimately, let's strengthen up the positive resources you already have and add more, so that life is even better, and even more beautiful, and you are able to be closely connected with your true nature, peaceful joy, and connect with others.

When Jenn is not counselling, she's walking with her two dogs in the forests of North Vancouver, watching sunsets with her husband, surfing waves or SUP-ing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. She adores the ocean, flowers and both making and eating pies.
